David Branshaw captured the Nationwide Tour Players Championship this past weekend wearing Copley Apparel. David hit an approach to 2 feet for eagle on the par 5 17th hole on Sunday to win the title. Twenty-ninth on the money list going into the final event of the year, Branshaw closed with a 1-under 71 for a two-shot victory. He finished at a 12-under 272 and earned $117,000. This win vaulted him to 7th position on the Nationwide money list and awarded David his PGA Tour card for the 2006 season along with 20 other players.
