PLANO, TX – Adams Golf is proud to announce that for the second consecutive week the winner of a PGA Tour event had an Adams Golf club in his bag. The winner of the 2005 Tour Championship event held in Atlanta, Georgia at East Lake Golf Club used the Adams Golf Idea hybrid for all four rounds of the tournament. This is the PGA Tour’s season-ending event and brings together the top 30 players on the PGA Tour’s money list.
Using the Adams Idea hybrid the winner shot a course-record 62 on Thursday and finished the tournament with a 17-under par score of 263 to win by six shots.
