Athens, Ga., April 9, 2007 – The LPGA Tournament Owners Association (TOA) named Sharon Hopkins director of business development, effective immediately.
"Sharon has taken on additional responsibilities over the past year and has proven herself more of a valuable resource to the TOA," said Jack Benjamin, Chairman of the TOA Board of Directors. The TOA Board of Directors also wishes to express their gratitude to Sharon for her assistance in the President’s position transition to Gail Graham.
As director of business development, Hopkins will be responsible for the TOA’s business and revenue development, as well as continuing on with the marketing, communication, conference development, and special projects division.
"I am pleased to take on this new role," said Hopkins. "The TOA is a very valuable resource for its members and I welcome the opportunity to enhance that resource."
