Adjustable Weights Make It Easy For Golfers Find The Perfect Ball Flight For Their Game

Norcross, GA (October 8, 2007) – After years of Research & Development, Mizuno, the industry leader in golf innovation, is proud to introduce the MP-600 driver with Fast Track Technology. Fast Track technology is a revolutionary system that allows the golfer to quickly and easily tune their ball flight. By having two 8 gram weights that can be placed in six distinct locations along the perimeter of the driver’s sole, there are 15 possible ball flight options to choose from in order to find the ideal setting for each golfer in order to maximize distance and control.

Because the track is located around the perimeter of the sole and toward the back of the 460cc titanium driver head, the MP-600 inherently has a low, deep COG. This ensures that regardless of each individual’s ideal setting, the MP-600 will generate a high launch with a strong, boring trajectory.

"Throughout the years, Mizuno has been the innovation leader in driver technology," said Dick Lyons, Vice President and General Manager, Golf Division for Mizuno USA, Inc. "So it was only natural that we are now taking adjustable weight technology to the next level with the introduction of the MP-600 driver with Fast Track technology."

The MP-600 driver also features a CNC milled, plasma welded CORTECHâ?¢ face design which utilizes multiple face thicknesses for maximum ball speed and distance across the entire face, a maximum allowable USGA 460cc volume for unsurpassed forgiveness, and a traditional and classic headshape and sound that discerning MP players prefer.

"One of the great things about the MP-600 is its ease of use" added Lyons. "Players will be able to take the MP-600 to the driving range and with the use of the Fast Track tool easily change their weight and ball flight settings quickly. Fast Track technology is not only quick and easy to adjust, but it also highly effective at maximizing players’ games by finding the ball flight they desire."

The MP-600 driver is available in right hand only in 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 degree lofts. Mizuno’s Exsar DS3 graphite shaft (Regular, Stiff) is standard. Also standard on the MP-600 will be the exclusive Mizuno/Golf Pride® M-21 58 Round grip. Custom options are available through Mizuno’s Custom Club department. Mizuno will begin shipping the MP-600 driver to accounts in October. Suggested retail price for the MP-600 driver is $479.99. The MP-600 with Fast Track technology conforms to the rules of golf currently maintained by USGA and R&A.
