#1 Cleat Brand On TOUR Wins Cleat Count At The PGA TOUR?s Verizon Heritage, Champions Tour?s Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, and Nationwide Tour?s Athens Regional Foundation Classic

Brentwood, Tennessee, April 21, 2008 … PrideSports, maker of Softspikes cleats, the #1 cleat brand on TOUR, swept the cleat count on the men’s combined professional golf tours this past weekend, capturing the field at the PGA TOUR’s Verizon Heritage, Champions Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am and Nationwide Athens Regional Foundation Classic. The Company’s Pulsar™ and Black Widow™ models outdistanced the plastic cleat competition by a ratio of more than 3-1 in player usage on the PGA TOUR, with even greater domination on both the Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour.

According to the Independent Darrell survey, 66% of the field at the PGA TOUR’s Verizon Heritage that chose to wear plastic cleats, wore Softspikes’ brand cleats – the #1 Cleat on TOUR. In addition, PrideSports announced that the winner of the Champions Tour’s Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am won wearing the Black Widow™ cleat, the world’s #1 selling golf cleat model.

In addition to the Company’s cleat domination, PrideSports’ patented Fast-Twist™ Insert System was featured in more than 80% of the shoes worn by players during the PGA TOUR’s Verizon Heritage. The #1 insert system on the PGA TOUR, Fast-Twist is the overwhelming choice by golf footwear manufacturers, as 8 out of the top 10 leading companies utilize the revolutionary golf cleat insert system as original equipment, including market leader FootJoy, as well as adidas, Bite, Bridgestone, Callaway, Etonic and Oakley.

“This was a telling week for Softspikes and PrideSports on TOUR, as our products not only dominated the cleat count again on all tours, but we continue to outdistance metal spike usage by greater margins,” said Joe Zeller, President, PrideSports. “These professional golfers can wear plastic or metal in competition, but choose the performance of plastic and our plastic products continually.”

PrideSports was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. This acquisition essentially formed the world’s premier golf accessories company, as Pride and Softspikes are the world’s leading golf tee and golf cleat lines, respectively. Today, PrideSports is the world leader in the design and manufacture of cleats, spikes and receptacles for the entire golf footwear industry.
