Using his RIFE Cayman putter, he fired a 6 under 65 at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas, to finish three strokes ahead of the 2nd Place Finisher who was also playing a RIFE putter, a Two Bar Blade.
This was his first Victory on the Champions Tour this season and the paycheck for $247,500.00 kept him in 4th Place on Money List with $1,661,538.00 and 5th on the Charles Schwab Cup Points List for the 2009 season. He is one of only five players that are in contention to win the Charles Schwab Cup going into the final event of the season, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
