March 31, 2009 (Oakbrook Terrace, IL) Zero Friction staff player Bubba Dickerson earned his first Nationwide Tour victory on Sunday at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open Presented by Dynamic Industries.

Dickerson posted rounds of 71, 64, 69, and 70 at Le Triomphe Country Club. The victory was capped off by a birdie on the first playoff hole against Brian Vranesh. Dickerson, the 2001 U.S. Amateur Champion, had made 4 of 5 cuts so far in 2009.

“It was only a matter of time until Bubba got his first tour victory,” said John Iacono, Founder and C.E.O of Excel Golf Products, Inc. “He’s off to a great start this year and his game is good enough to carry him to many more wins.”

The Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee has a unique three-pronged design that significantly reduces the contact area between the ball and tee at impact. The tees have also accounted for over 50 professional victories and more than 250 top-ten finishes.

So far, in 2009, Dickerson is averaging 289.5 yards per drive (13th on tour) and has hit 75% of fairways played.
