Black Widow Grips Fusion II makes final round cut at Northern Trust Open

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., February 22, 2011 … BLACK WIDOW® Grips, the boldest grips in golf, continue to succeed on the pro tours with another one of its new models in play, as one of this weekend’s final round qualifiers played the Fusion II model.
The new Fusion II grip features corded traction without the harshness of cord. A firm and highly textured all rubber grip with enhanced traction and control. These dynamic characteristics are again proving to be a potential favorite among TOUR players.
“It is exciting to see that more players are recognizing our BLACK WIDOW® Grips for their excellent performance characteristics,” said Chip Chiappetta, Brand and Product Manager, PrideSports. “Seeing more and more of our new grip models on the PGA TOUR is a great accomplishment.”
BLACK WIDOW Grips are designed to meet the needs of golfers at all levels, from touring professionals to recreational golfers, with nine distinct models. The expansive product line features Softspikes’ traction-inspired interlocking “S” pattern and Web-Traction TechnologyTM which are anti-slip design arrangements that maximize surface area for more traction.
