The Mississippi Tourism Board chose Larry Olmsted as the winner of its Governor’s Tourism Award for Travel Writers, for his Travel Food Guy column in USA Today. Serial award-winner David Barrett just added the International Network of Golf’s media award in the Book Author category to his trophy room-for Miracle at Merion. Barrett’s next book, Making the Masters-about the early years of the tournament- is due out in April from Skyhorse Publishing. Wall street analyst and golf writer Casey Alexander was appointed Director of Equity Research for Gilford Securities, Inc.
