NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 3, 2012 – KemperSports today announced the hiring of Andy Crosson as vice president of business development. In this role, Crosson will join the new business team responsible for growing KemperSports’ golf course management portfolio.
“Andy has a proven track record of creating new business opportunities throughout his career,” said Steve Skinner, chief executive officer of KemperSports. “Andy’s extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our golf course management portfolio.”
Crosson brings more than 20 years of experience in the golf industry to KemperSports, specializing in new business development and acquisition of properties. Since 2000, Crosson served as founding partner and executive vice president of Heritage Golf Group in Del Mar, California. As one of four founding members, Crosson created the acquisition platform for Heritage Golf Group and lead development efforts to build the company’s golf course portfolio.
Prior to Heritage Golf Group, Crosson was also a founding member and executive vice president of Cobblestone Golf Group. Under Crosson’s leadership, Cobblestone grew from start-up company in 1992 to a golf course owner and operator of 43 properties by 1999.
