NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 4, 2012- KemperLesnik, a leading public relations, events and sports marketing agency, has been tapped by The Prairie Club, a 46-hole semi-private golf resort located in the pristine Sand Hills region of western Nebraska, to provide public relations services.

In this role, KemperLesnik will help to generate awareness for The Prairie Club and its mission to create an unforgettable destination golf experience for its members and guests. The public relations program will include media relations and social media.

“The Prairie Club was built for the love of pure golf,” said Amy Littleton, senior vice president of KemperLesnik. “The property stands out as one of the most amazing golf developments of the recent past, and we look forward to ensuring that golfers across the nation and around the globe add The Prairie Club to their must-play lists.”

The Prairie Club, recently rated by Golfweek as one of the “Top 25 Golf Resorts in the U.S.,” features two award-winning 18-hole courses (The Dunes Course and The Pines Course), a 10-hole par 3 course (The Horse Course) and a western-style Prairie Club lodge.

The Dunes Course, designed by Tom Lehman and Chris Brands, was recently listed as one of the top 100 courses in the U.S. by LINKS Magazine. The Pines Course, designed by Graham Marsh, was featured in the “2010 Best New Golf Courses You Can Play” list by GOLF Magazine (The Dunes Course was also featured on this list).

The Horse Course at The Prairie Club was designed by Gil Hanse, the golf course architect recently selected to design the 2016 Olympic course in Rio de Janeiro and renovate The TPC Blue Monster at Doral Golf Resort and Spa. Plans are underway for a third 18-hole course at The Prairie Club, named Old School, which will also be designed by Hanse.
