The Olympic Club proved to be a difficult test for the world’s best players. With greens as difficult as the rough, many players relied on SuperStroke putter grips, helping 2 top 5 finishers and 5 of the top 15 overall.
Jason Dufner claimed one of the top 5 spots, finished T4 for the week, using his black Slim Lite putter grip. This finish furthered his lead in the FedEx Cup race and also pushed him over the $4 million dollar mark for the 2012 PGA Tour season.
The other top 5 finish was from the former LSU Tiger, who finished T4 with Dufner. The 13-time PGA Tour winner trusted his black Slim Lite and earned his best finish of the year and moved up to 33rd in the world golf rankings.
The SuperStroke Slim Lite has surpassed expectations and quickly became the grip of choice on TOUR. Measuring 1.30″ in diameter but only weighting 55 grams, the Slim Lite gives players the benefits of a jumbo grip without any swing weighting issues.
After a very strong showing at the U.S. Open, it is clear that SuperStroke jumbo putter grips are #1 on the PGA Tour.
Total won in 2012 (to date): $16.5 Million
