On behalf of the ICG Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the start of a 3-year working agreement between the ICG and Sosan Co., Ltd. to assist new ICG members from the Asian Region in becoming certified as clubmakers and clubfitters.
Sosan Co., Ltd. will establish training units, conduct courses, and translate materials from English into the appropriate language in Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea, and Thailand initially. If successful, the program will later expand into Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, and Australia. The US-based ICG will, in turn, provide the necessary education materials, certification exam details, and technical support to Sosan Co., Ltd.
We hope to fill a void with what we feel is a much needed service by offering clubmaking certification courses in multiple countries and languages in the rapidly growing Asian Region.
