Seminar focuses on golf specific aspects of ADA compliance
Hayward, CA- Golf course superintendents from the Central, Northern California and Sierra Nevada Chapters of the GCSAA will gather on Mon. August 13 at TPC Stonebrae (Hayward, CA) for the association’s 2012 Tri-Chapter meeting and golf tournament.
The breakfast meeting will commence at 8:00 a.m. with featured speaker Fred Brattain, Founder & CEO of the Disabled Golfers’ Learning Foundation, who’ll address association members and provide keen insight on the issue of compliance as it relates to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Brattain, who is extremely knowledgeable in the golf specific aspects of ADA, will also convey the many benefits of supporting golfers with disabilities.
Brattain’s presentation will be followed by golf on the nationally-ranked David McLay Kidd designed course, a spectacular venue and host of the TPC Stonebrae Championship (formerly Nationwide Tour, now Web.com Tour). A reception and awards ceremony will immediately follow the tournament.
