IRVINE, CA – October 29, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 47 worldwide professional tour victories since the 2010 golf season, announced today that FOURTEEN GOLF Staff and PGA Professional Arjun Atwal played the companies new prototype wedge at the McGladrey Classic to tie for a Top-10 finish.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “Arjun used his new FOURTEEN GOLF prototype wedges to play some pretty amazing golf. During the second round he chipped his way to the lead, placing the ball within tap-in distances. His 7-under 63 included three straight birdies which included a wedge into five feet on the fifth hole, his 14th of the event.”

Atwal shot rounds of 67, 63, 69, and 71 to finish 10-under 270. His second round 63 is his personal best score of the 2012 season and has provided him encouragement leading into the next PGA Tour events. “Arjun has found his late season magic. This time last year he fought to qualify for the FedEx Cup and the year before he won the Wyndam. We’re confident he will finish this season strong,” added Kamoda.

The new FOURTEEN GOLF prototype wedges have been played in back-to-back weekends for a Top-10 finishes. This week it was Atwal with a 54.10 and 60.06 at the McGladrey Classic and last week it was a 50.12 and 58.06 put into play at the Frys.com Open. Initial PGA Tour testing has proved that the future FOURTEEN GOLF wedge release will be again a success on the PGA Tour, Web.com and LPGA Tours.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. This year FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed

Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
