Conshohocken, Pa FitGolf Performance Centers, The Golf Fitness Experts™ have added a new FitGolf Performance Center in Houston, TX. The owner of the new franchisee is Gerhard Schulz. With the help of Sprigster’s Boost, a Hero program offered to Veterans to create financing for this new business opportunity, Gerhard is hoping to create opportunities like he did for himself to help transition Veterans to new career opportunities. Gerhard is very excited to put his skills he developed through his military career into this new small business opportunity.
“I am very excited to join the FitGolf team and combine my two biggest passions, fitness and golf, and turn them into my next career,” said Gerhard. “In light of rising unemployment statistics I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands and apply the skills I’ve developed in the military, such as leadership and management, as an entrepreneur.”

Gerhard entered the Army right after graduating high school in 1986. He served for 10 years as an enlisted soldier then received a commission as an Officer after finishing his college degree in Business Administration. After being introduced to golf 15 years ago, both golf and fitness are his two biggest passions.
Sprigster is a program that offers a web-based platform to generate funds that help veteran’s and military spouses who are pursuing small businesses.
