Powerbilt Partners With TGA Premier Junior Golf To Grow The Game

Contributes $300,000 to TGA Sports Foundation

Palm Desert, CA – PowerBilt Golf announces it has formed a partnership with TGA (Teach Grow Achieve) Premier Junior Golf in a deal that includes Powerbilt becoming one of the TGA Sports Foundation’s founding partners.

Powerbilt will contribute $300,000 to the 501c3 TGA Sports Foundation in an ongoing effort to make golf accessible to all youth in communities through school programs that transition students and families to green grass facilities. The funds will impact and enrich the lives of under-resourced and special needs youth across the country while developing the infrastructure to grow the game for the future.

“PowerBilt’s commitment to junior golf currently encompasses manufacturing quality game-improvement products to enhance the experience during young people’s beginning years in golf. By supporting TGA Premier Junior Golf, PowerBilt will be able to get more involved with junior golf, and help grow the game at the local level,” explains Ross Kvinge, president of PowerBilt Golf.

Other aspects of the partnership include PowerBilt being the exclusive provider of hard goods equipment for all TGA programs, joint marketing efforts to Powerbilt’s and TGA’s database’s and PowerBilt launching a new franchise territory in Coachella Valley, CA in 2013.

“Powerbilt’s six sizes of boys and girls junior clubs are the best in the business. Couple that with our common mission to grow the game of golf and provide access to under-resourced and special needs students and you have a successful partnership,” said Joshua Jacobs, founder and CEO of TGA Premier Junior Golf. “We look forward to working with PowerBilt to access all demographics in the communities we serve, while providing opportunities for our franchises to grow golf in more households.”

The alliance between the two leading junior golf companies will create a platform to grow golf in every demographic for youth under 10.

“Our main focus until now has been working with junior tours to offer scholarships for higher education. Working with the TGA through their enrichment programs enables us to work with kids during their first impressions of golf,” adds Kvinge.
