Fourteen Golf’s Utility Irons Were Played by a Top-10 Finisher At the Inaugural Web.com Brasil Classic

IRVINE, CA – April 8, 2013 – FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in the development of golf equipment, announced today that a Top-10 finisher at the Web.com Brasil Classic played two of the company’s Utility Irons at the inaugural event in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“Fourteen Golf is known on the tours for its wedges, but our Utility Irons continue to gain popularity both on and off the tour. One top-10 finisher at the Brasil Classic used our tour specific #3 and #4 Utility Irons to control his shots to the greens with precision and accuracy. For the consumer, we’ve developed the HI-610h T.S. for golfers who want to hit their long shots directly at the pin,” stated Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda.

The Hi-610h T.S. features a relatively small club head size. The idea was to maintain the appearance of a traditional iron while managing to produce a club that will allow golfers to hit solidly out of any rough. A hollow structured head produces the distance of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron. A deep and lower CG provides control as well as stability. It allows the skilled golfer to select the smallest of targets and get there with precision. There are three Hi-610h T.S. Utility Irons to choose from, a #2, #3, and #4.

“The Hi-610h T.S. is the perfect alternative to long irons. A highly engineered club head combined with an exclusive proprietary sole makes any lie easy to get out of without losing accuracy. They are effortless to hit,” adds Kamoda.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. The company proudly announced the addition of PGA Professional John Mallinger to the FOURTEEN GOLF Professional Staff in January of 2013. He will play the RM Series Wedges as well as wear a FOURTEEN GOLF cap. His staff bag, head covers, umbrella and towel will all display the FOURTEEN GOLF logo.

Last year, FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal. “I love the FOURTEEN GOLF RM-12 Wedges. The workability of these wedges are unbelievable,” said Atwal.
