PGA Tour’s most accurate driver plays Aldila’s new Tour Green shaft, new Aldila RIP irons
POWAY, Calif. – With 39 of Aldila’s new Tour Green and Tour Blue shafts in play at the Wells Fargo Championship, “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” won both the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on the PGA Tour, according to the Darrell Survey. Aldila had 28 more wood shafts and 10 more hybrid shafts in play than their closest competition. The double count win marked the eighth consecutive week, including the Masters, that Aldila has won both shaft counts.
Aldila’s new Tour Blue and Green shafts are extremely accurate. The Most Accurate Driver on the PGA Tour uses the Tour Green in his driver and 3 wood. He currently leads the PGA Tour with an overall Driving Accuracy Percentage rating of 73.39 percent compared to the Tour’s average of 59.96 percent. He also plays Aldila’s new graphite RIP Iron shafts in all of his iron clubs.
“The Tour Green and Tour Blue is a new shaft design that’s currently undergoing final testing on Tour and will be released later this year,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “Aldila’s new graphite irons will afford golfers unrivaled consistency; straightness and low torque with optimum feel when they are released later this summer.”
