Iconic TPC Sawgrass hosted another thrilling event that saw SuperStroke putter grips being used by two of the top-10 finishers. This marks the 10th straight event that a SuperStroke grip has been used by a player finishing inside the top-10.
Using the Ultra Slim 1.0, a 3-time PGA Tour winner led the way for SuperStroke Golf, finishing T5 at The Players. The Ultra Slim 1.0 is the smallest grip in the SuperStroke line, measuring only 1″ in diameter. This marked the 2nd top-10 finish in 2013 for the Texas A&M grad.
The 33-year-old Spaniard took home the other top-10 with a SuperStroke grip, earning a tie for 8th. The 8-time PGA Tour winner also used an Ultra Slim 1.0, earning himself his 4th top-10 on the PGA Tour in 2013. The 2012 Wyndham Championship winner now ranks 3rd in Strokes-Gained for the year after his beautiful putting performance on the greens of TPC Sawgrass.
Another great week for SuperStroke Golf as 14 players used non-tapered technology on the weekend. In all, another million dollars in Tour player earnings was won, bringing the total for the year over $17.5 million.
