Ozik Altus Played By Volvo Match Play Champion

Anaheim, CA-Congratulations to the winner of the European Tour’s Volvo Match Play, who used an OZIK Altus in his Adams hybrid to take the win on Sunday.

The OZIK Altus is no stranger to the spotlight, having been the most used shaft model on the PGA Tour 18 times in 2012, and 10 times so far this tour season. The Altus’ superior design and advanced use of multiple technologies enable this mid-launching, mid-spinning shaft to perform and show the results that the players on the professional level desire. A few main contributing technologies include the TTR, or Tip Torsional Resistance, which provides the control that is needed for longer distance and straighter shots. Another, CFI Technology provides consistency, while the AVF technology design uses the shafts butt section to create a bigger fulcrum, allowing greater launch and spin control.

“Players need to be able to trust their hybrid shaft to be able to give the results that they need to make it down the fairway,” said Director of Tour Operations, Joe Miera. “The Altus is a really well designed shaft and gives the players the control and consistency they desire, it’s no surprise that we keep seeing big numbers from it.”
