The top of the leaderboard was full of SuperStroke putter grip representation with four players, each using different SuperStroke models, earning top-5 finishes.
A runner-up finish at Colonial CC was taken home by the winner of the 2013 WGC-Accenture Match Play, who used a 21″ SuperStroke grip in the arm-lock method. This putting style and grip combination has helped the 5-time PGA Tour winner become more consistent on the greens, proving that by finishing 7th in Strokes-Gained.
There were a total of three players that finished T4 in Fort Worth. All of which were using SuperStroke putter grips. First, a 2-time PGA Tour winner and Tennessee Tech graduate used the Ultra Slim 1.0 to earn his second T4 this year. Next, a University of Florida graduate used the Mid Slim 2.0 on his way to T4 finish, his best of the year. Finally, a 3-time PGA Tour winner and Virginia Commonwealth University graduate used the Slim 3.0 to his best finish of 2013.
Seven of the top 14 finishers at the Crowne Plaza Invitational trusted SuperStroke grip technology. On top of that, three players finished in the top-25 at the BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour, including a T4.
