Carmel, IN FitGolf Performance Centers, The Golf Fitness Experts™ in Carmel, IN was at the Foyt Family Golf Outing which was played at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course. The event was held back on May 21st. FitGolf offered pre round stretches to all the golfers in the field. The Brickyard Crossing Golf Course is located inside the track at the Indy 500.
“We were very excited to be a part of this event.” said Tracy Chapman, Golf Fitness Specialist at the FitGolf Center in Carmel. “We try our best to make sure all the golfers are prepared and physically comfortable for the day on the course.”
The event is an annual event led by AJ Foyt IV and his family to raise money for special causes. This year’s event was to benefit The Healing Place, based in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an addiction recovery organization that serves Kentucky and neighboring states. Their unique program is a minimum 6 month term, where clients pay nothing out of pocket and have a 75% success rate for sobriety after one year. This year’s Foyt Golf Classic was sponsored by the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts Super Bowl Trophy was on hand to see and even touch. The unique timing of the outing brought out Indy 500 fans and drivers.
