Santa Ana, CA – June 4, 2013 – IOMIC USA, manufacturer of innovative, revolutionary and dynamically designed grips, announced today that the winners of the PGA Memorial Tournament, ShopRite LPGA Classic, Japan Golf Tour Diamond Cup, and Japan LPGA Resort Trust Ladies all used IOMIC grips.

“We have had an incredible couple of weeks on tour with consecutive wins on the PGA and LPGA Tours and wins on both the Japan Tours. With these victories, IOMIC grips have now been played by the winners of 25 worldwide tour events in 2013. We congratulate all the winners and in particular, Karrie Webb who is part of our IOMIC team,” stated Katz Murai, Overseas Division of IOMIC.

The winner of the PGA Memorial Tournament finished the day Sunday with a 4-under 68 for a two-shot victory to claim his second PGA title of 2013. His win moved him to second in the FedExCup Point Standings. He relied on X-Evolution grips for remarkable traction and superior performance.

Karrie Webb started the day five shots behind the second-round leader but fired a 3-under 68 in tough playing conditions to capture her 39th career LPGA Tour victory and first win since 2011. Steady winds near 20 mph with gusts even greater made it a very tough day for all of the competitors. Webb was one of three players who received low-round honors with a 68. She used her custom yellow and green Sticky 2.3 grips to maintain control and feel in less than optimal playing conditions.

The winner of the Japan Golf Tour Diamond Cup claimed a two-shot victory in tough final-day weather conditions to win his second Japan Golf Tour event since turning pro in April. In only five starts this season, he has won twice, finished second twice and tied for 10th. He used the great feeling IOMIC Art Grip Sticky Opus1 grips with low torque for more stability and control during every shot.

The teenage winner of the Japan LPGA Resort Trust Ladies shot a 2-under par 70 to claim her second win of the season. She is the fourth teenager to earn two victories on the Japan LPGA tour. The winner used IOMIC Sticky 1.8 grips.

“This has been an outstanding season so far for all four winners as this is the second victory of the year for three of them and the first win in a couple of years for Karrie. We are pleased to see the professionals continue to rely on the great feel and control of our grips week after week in all types of weather conditions,” added Murai.

The X-Evolution wood and iron grip is the next generation X-Grip. A larger outer diameter and deeper X pattern provide remarkable traction equivalent to a cord grip. The X-Evolution delivers both accuracy and stability for superior performance.

IOMIC Sticky grips are incredibly soft, and feature great traction and low torque. These versatile grips are suitable for all playing styles, from beginners to top ranked tour professionals. The Sticky 2.3 is the standard size grip in the Sticky series while the Sticky 1.8 is slightly smaller. Both are available in a wide variety of colors.

IOMIC Art Grip Sticky Opus grips are manufactured using IOMIC’s special marble coloring process to create a stylish, fresh new look. Sticky grips are incredibly soft, and feature great traction and low torque. These grips are available in a variety of body colors with a white marble design.

All IOMIC grips feature the revolutionary “IOMAX” technology, a proprietary compound that provides a soft feel with control. This material provides adhesiveness, is water and friction resistant and is naturally white in color which allows for a full spectrum of color – IOMIC’s signature trait.
