Zack Fischer and his RIFE 2-Bar Hybrid Putter Advance to U.S. Open

Sanford, FL – RIFE PGA Tour Rep, Kyle Ulrikson, watched Zack Fischer on the Golf Channel make his birdie putt to qualify for the U.S. Open using the RIFE 2-Bar Hybrid putter he gave him at The Zurich Classic in New Orleans about a month earlier.

“It was exciting to see Zack make that putt,” Said Kyle, “his confidence with that 2-Bar Hybrid putter is way up there…he may surprise some people this week.”

Tuesday evening Zack Fischer make a birdie on had to play 63 holes of qualifying to make his first U.S. Open.

Fischer began his journey with an 18-hole local qualifier in May, followed by a 36-hole qualifier at Lakewood Country Club. He was tied with Ryan Palmer for the last spot, and they went eight holes of a playoff until it was too dark to continue. Fischer made birdie on the first hole Tuesday morning to get a spot at Merion next week.

Fischer is just one of the many non-endorsed Professional Tour Players who choose to play a RIFE putter even though they’re not paid to play it. “The Tour Players play our putter because it helps them earn a bigger paycheck on Sunday,” said Jim Barfield, V.P. of Tour Operations for RIFE Golf, “and we’re very proud of that. Our RollGroove Technology grips and lifts the ball into an instant forward roll and gets it on line and headed towards the cup quicker than any other putter in the industry. If it’s good enough for the best golfers in the world you can bet it’s going to help you sink more putts as well.”

About RIFE Golf

RIFE Golf is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. RIFE states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
