SOUTHERN PINES, N.C…. Golf Pride, a division of diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton, announced today that 88% of competitors at the recently completed NCAA Division I Golf National Championships trusted their games to Golf Pride grips. Golf Pride was played by 109 of the 126 women and 139 of the 156 men at the Division I National Championships.

Golf Pride’s New Decade MultiCompound, the fastest growing grip on the PGA TOUR, has also garnered a substantial following at the collegiate level. The New Decade MultiCompound was the grip of choice for 40% of women and 30% of men in the Division I Championship field. Golf Pride’s New Decade MultiCompound grips feature a proprietary hybrid cord/rubber technology that offers increased stability and control without sacrificing feel.

“It is exciting to see so many of the next generation of elite golfers trusting their games to Golf Pride,” said Brandon Sowell, Global Sales and Marketing Manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “The New Decade MultiCompound grips not only offer tremendous performance but the wide array of color options allows players to demonstrate school spirit by matching their grips with their team colors.”
