IRVINE, CA – June 10, 2013 – FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in the development of golf equipment design, announced today that their Golf Digest “Hot List” award winning RM-12 Wedge was played at the PGA Tour’s St. Jude Classic for the company’s tenth 2013 victory.

According to Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda, “We are thrilled for this young PGA Professional. Not only did he capture his first PGA Tour victory but he earned a spot to play in the Masters. We extend our appreciation for playing our RM-12 Wedge weekly and congratulate him on this monumental win.”

Birdie putts lead to winning and the St. Jude Champion birdied three of the final holes to take home his first PGA Tour title. He played a RM-12 Wedge in a 60-degree loft with 10-degree bounce to get out of trouble and to set up short and makeable putts. The high performance RM-12 Wedge also provided the winner workability combined with an ideal spin rate.

For the 60-degree RM-12 Wedge, the design team implemented a T-Sole, also known as a Twin Sole. A distinct ridge in the middle portion of the sole allows the club to get through any type of lie easily as the leading edge is able to slide under the club effortlessly. Additionally, when the club face is open, the back portion of the sole encourages the ball to pop up with the perfect amount of spin.

The uniquely shaped trapezoidal grooves featured on the RM-12 Wedges have been enlarged by 15% as compared to other FOURTEEN GOLF wedges. This increase in overall groove volume enhances spin retention particularly on partial shots. In addition, these high quality grooves perform well in both dry and wet conditions.

FOURTEEN GOLF also had a PGA Professional play a FOURTEEN GOLF Utility Iron at the St. Jude Classic to secure another Top-5 finish for the company. “Our Utility Irons help golfers reach the green and hold them unlike a fairway wood or hybrid,” added Kamoda.

The Hi-610h T.S. Utility Iron features a relatively small club head size. The idea was to maintain the appearance of a traditional iron while managing to produce a club that will allow golfers to hit solidly out of any rough. A proprietary sole design promotes ease out of any rough as well as promotes a solid and accurate shot. There are three Hi-610h T.S. Utility Irons to choose from, a #2, #3, and #4.

In addition to the vast amount of professional golfers playing FOURTEEN GOLF equipment, the company has a professional FOURTEEN GOLF staff team which includes PGA Professionals John Mallinger, Arjun Atwal, Ryuji Imada and Chad Collins. Images and Bios of these players can be furnished upon request or seen at the company website www.fourteengolf.com.
