On Sunday, a 2Thumb grip proved to be the leading edge for the 34-year-old European professional from Bath, England who distanced himself from a packed leaderboard on the back nine to win the European Open held in Hamburg, Germany. It was his first DP World. He finished at 13-under, winning by two strokes over Austrian Bernd Wiesberger.
Wiesberger finished tied for second with another 2Thumb team member from South Africa who has eight professional wins and four DP World titles.
