Boulder, Colo. (November 4, 2013) – KBS claimed the yearlong Charles Schwab Cup last weekend with a top-5 finish at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, Cali. This marks the company’s 6th Champions Tour victory in 2013.
The Charles Schwab Cup winner tallied three Champion’s Tour victories in 2013: the Senior Players Championship, the U.S. Senior Open and the AT&T Championship. The Charles Schwab Cup victory adds to an already successful season for KBS. In 2013, KBS won three of the four majors: The Masters, The U.S. Open and The Open Championship
“Winning three times and having multiple top five finishes is extremely exciting,” said Kim Braly, director of tour operations and research and development at KBS. “This player was one of the first players to win on the PGA Tour and has been with KBS since 2008.”
