HIRZL Long Drive Professional Staffer Jeff Crittenden qualified to compete in the field of the 2014 RE/MAX Long Drive Championship.
A full field of Long Drive Professionals competed at the Mesquite Sports and Event Complex. Round by round, the field was reduced until the eight longest golfers of the event remained. HIRZL Staffer Crittenden was one of them. He fired a (398) yard drive to qualify.
These eight Long Drive Professionals, coined as the Las Vegas 8, will compete for $250,000 “LIVE” on the The Golf Channel. “To reach the highest level of Long Drive is a remarkable accomplishment. The Golf Channel will air the first three episodes of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship on October 14th, 21st, and 28th. The “LIVE” finals will air on November 7th at 7:00pm (PST). HIRZL Staffer Crittenden and his fellow finalists will be featured on Golf Central, Morning Drive, and Golf Fix.
