(SHELTON, Wash.) – Salish Cliffs Golf Club (www.salish-cliffs.com) at Little Creek Casino Resort – located a short drive from Olympia and Seattle – rose to No.6 in Golfweek’s latest rankings of the country’s “Best Casino Courses”.

The only Pacific Northwest course to be ranked in the top 20, Salish Cliffs continued its upward trajectory by climbing three spots from last year. The course recently soared 12 places in Golfweek’s 2015 “Best Resort Courses” rankings and landed at No. 43.

The magazine deploys over 700 experienced raters each year to survey thousands of courses based on variety of holes, strength of conditioning, natural setting, routing, shaping and management.

“Little Creek Casino Resort and Salish Cliffs are an exceptional golf-and-gaming destination,” said Salish Cliffs Head Golf Professional David Kass, PGA. “Having a distinguished panel of experts affirm our growth only reinforces the commitment by course management and the Squaxin Island Tribe to providing guests with a spectacular experience.”

This spring, the resort will serve as a home base for golfers visiting the Puget Sound region for the 2015 U.S. Open at nearby Chambers Bay. A unique booking package allows fans to stay within an hour’s drive of the competition and play Washington’s best casino and resort course for one low rate.

Adjacent to Salish Cliffs, Little Creek Casino Resort offers a poker room and Las Vegas-style electronic and table gaming in one of the state’s newest and largest non-smoking facilities. A variety of fine and casual dining options along with 190 immaculate guest rooms and suites complement the casino.

Popular amenities include the invigorating Seven Inlets Spa, Skookum Cigar & Wine Bar and state-of-the-art Skookum Creek Event Center, which regularly hosts big-name music acts and shows, including Little Creek Brawl VI, a Showtime Boxing event, on Dec. 20 and Jenny McCarthy’s Dirty, Sexy, Funny on Jan. 29.
