JUPITER, Florida (September 12, 2015) – H4Events USA, which organizes and conducts golf-related travel experiences in the U.S. and France, announces that the 2015 Alliance Golf Cup has become a partner of The First Tee. As a Silver Partner of The First Tee, the 2015 Alliance Golf Cup will donate a portion of the event’s proceeds to help support this organization’s important work.

“It is with pride that we initiate our partnership with The First Tee,” said Laurent-Alix Huguet, founder and CEO of H4Events USA. “The joy of golf is enhanced greatly by the opportunity to give back and help grow the game.”

The mission of The First Tee is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The Alliance Golf Cup is an annual tournament between an American and an international team, each consisting of 20 amateurs and 10 professionals. The thrilling matches offer enjoyment and camaraderie as well as serious competition. This year’s Alliance Golf Cup will be played Oct. 16-18 at PGA National Resort & Spa, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The captains for the 2015 Alliance Golf Cup recently were announced. Leading the international team will be Patricia Meunier-Lebouc, a French former professional golfer on the LET and LPGA Tours. Meunier-Lebouc was a 7-time Tour winner, including the 2003 Kraft Nabisco Championship (a Major), and was a member of two victorious Solheim Cup teams. She currently instructs golf at Ibis Golf & Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., serves as national coach of the French Golf Federation and has been named coach of the 2016 French Women’s Golf Olympic Team.

Captaining the U.S. team will be John Means Jr., men’s golf coach at the University of Idaho. In 2013, Means was inducted into the Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame. He formerly coached golf at the U. of Minnesota, the U. of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the U.S. Military Academy. He has coached two individual NCAA champions and has taught in National Golf Foundation programs.
