What a fascinating question! In fact, it is downright controversial and damning for the golf industry in Asia.
It’s a tough question to answer because there are no industry benchmarks and statistics to prove or disprove the poser.
However, if one moves around the region and is in touch with golf course operators and equipment manufacturers, distributors and dealers, the general consensus points to the industry being in a slump. How serious is the slump? Nobody quite seems to know!
So, what do we do? Do we sit on our haunches and wait for the slump to blow over?
