New collaboration begins with a national promotion providing a rider in 11 cities free golf for a year
ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 23, 2015) – A new marketing partnership between GolfNow and Uber will showcase how these digital companies are bringing golfers closer to their cities and the places they love to play.
The multi-tiered partnership will commence this Friday, Sept. 25, with a weekend promotion conducted in 10 U.S. cities and Orange County, Calif., which will offer Uber riders discounts on golf, surprise gifts and an opportunity to win free golf for a year.
As the world’s distribution leader of online tee-times, GolfNow will give all riders in the 11 designated markets a discount on their next round of golf and automatically register them for a chance to win free golf for a year when using the Uber app from Friday, Sept. 25- Sunday, Sept. 27, between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. local time. The cities include Charlotte, N.C.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Los Angeles, Calif.; Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Orlando, Fla.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; San Diego, Calif.; Tampa, Fla.; Tucson, Ariz.; and the cities incorporating Orange County, Calif.
One grand-prize of free golf for a year per market will be awarded. Additionally, 11 riders in each city (excluding Los Angeles and Orange County) that use the GolfNow option in the Uber app on Saturday, Sept. 26, will win a prize pack valued at more than $200. One lucky rider among the 11 also will receive a Srixon driver valued at $349.99.
