KemperSports Selected to Manage Country Club of Winter Haven
KemperSports has been selected by the Board of Directors at the Country Club of Winter Haven to manage the full-service, member-owned club in Winter Haven, Florida. A staple in the community since its founding in 1923, the club features a newly re-designed 18-hole championship golf course by renowned architects Bill Bergin and Rees Jones.
“The Country Club of Winter Haven is a place where generations have enjoyed the country club lifestyle with family and friends,” said Mike Mahalek, Board President. “Through this new partnership, we will be tapping into KemperSports’ private club expertise to ensure Winter Haven is well-positioned to anticipate and meet the needs of our members for years to come.”
Situated on one mile of beautiful lake frontage and 200 acres of land, Winter Haven is comprised of an 18-hole golf course, full-service golf shop, and tennis and fitness facilities. It also features several indoor and outdoor dining amenities in and around the newly renovated clubhouse.
Re-designed in 2014, Winter Haven’s 7,021-yard course is in perfect harmony with the terrain as it winds beneath stately oaks and pines, providing subtle elevation changes. The property also includes a practice facility.
