Custom Branded Mobile App Feature Yielding Huge Returns

Gallus Golf has struck Golf Gold with its in-app feature The Offer Locker. Staying true its core values to Innovate and Excel, never being satisfied with the status quo and always challenging conventional views, Gallus continued to improve this feature this year and the results for its partnered courses have been outstanding.

Will Hewett, Director of Golf at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township, Michigan has been using the Offer Locker to selectively pepper his tee sheet with activity.  When asked about the performance of an offer put out for the Labor Day holiday weekend, Will responded, “Yes, the offer filled up our afternoon times that would normally go empty and made the holiday weekend great.”

The Offer Locker is a brandable feature Gallus Golf built for its partnered courses to be able to extend marketing offers to course customers. These offers can be set to be available to all users, or to course defined segments as small as one user. They reside in the courses’ apps to drive loyalty and engagement while directly driving revenue through the offer for the course. The Offer Locker is a feature unique to Gallus Technology.

Gallus Golf recently looked into the activity of the Offer Locker to report usage statistics through August 31, 2019 from their relatively new feature.  Here is what they found:

  • 2,892 offers have been made by Gallus partnered courses
  • Users of those course apps viewed these offers 318,153 times
  • There were 48,421 redemptions of these offers for direct revenue related activities

Will Hewett from Cherry Creek continued, “The Offer Locker, or as we call it Cherry Creek Rewards, is a great way to offer savings to our loyal customers through our mobile app. We can send out notifications, and also plug the savings on social media. The only way they can get it is downloading our app. It has increased our email database and continues to increase sales in F&B, merchandise, and tee times.”
