Hootie & The Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am Tickets Go On Sale Monday, February 17
Event Has Raised More Than $7.5 Million For Charity
MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Tickets for the 26th annual Hootie & The Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament will go on sale Monday, February 17 at 10 a.m. at the House of Blues, Barefoot Resort & Golf pro shops and all Ticketmaster outlets.
The Monday After the Masters will be played at Barefoot Resort’s Dye Club on April 11. This will mark the 18thconsecutive year the event is played at the acclaimed Pete Dye design.
The gates will open at 8 a.m. and the tournament will tee off at 9:30 a.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults and children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Monday After the Masters has sold out 13 consecutive years, annually attracting a crowd of more than 6,000 people.
Among the early commitments for the 2020 tournament are current Tennessee Titan and former Clemson Tiger WR Adam Humphries, Pro Football Hall of Famer Dermontti Dawson, actor Anthony Michael Hall, and Weather Channel star Jim Cantore. Current PGA Tour player Harold Varner III and two-time major champion John Daly help lead the list of professional golfers who have pledged to play in this year’s event.
The 2019 MAM raised over $350,000 for charity, pushing the 26-year total to more than $7.5 million.
All ticket proceeds benefit the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, which supports the educational needs of children in South Carolina and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation through a fully funded endowment.
Monday After the Masters has hosted celebrity actors, sports figures, musicians and more. Players have included PGA Tour stars Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jim Furyk, Tom Watson, John Daly and Arnold Palmer, along with LPGA Tour stars Annika Sorenstam and Nancy Lopez. Sports and entertainment stars Bill Murray, Samuel L. Jackson, John Elway, Johnny Damon, Dan Marino, and Joey Fatone, among many others, have also participated in the event.
