OLYMPIC WOMEN

OMEGA welcomes three exceptional athletes to its showcase of timekeeping technology in Tokyo.

American gold and silver medallist Dalilah Muhammad, American golfer Danielle Kang, and Swiss hurdler Lea Sprunger, all spent their final Tokyo 2020 morning in the company of friends, as special guests at OMEGA Showcasing in Tokyo.

The Olympians swapped stories and compared experiences as they explored the timing technology behind the Olympic Games.

Although Dalilah Muhammad and Lea Sprunger compete in the same discipline, and the American athletes in the same national team, the three Olympians rarely cross paths, so the timekeeping visit provided the perfect opportunity for the ambassadors to be better acquainted.

As a tribute to the brand, the two track and field athletes competed wearing OMEGA’s Seamaster Aqua Terra “Ultra Light”. Fashioned from a strong yet lightweight alloy called Gamma Titanium, OMEGA’s ultimate sports watch features a telescopic crown and weighs just 55 grams when worn on a sporty strap.

For the timekeeping visit, the athletes chose to sport dressier styles.

Dalilah Muhammad wore OMEGA’s Speedmaster 38 mm “Cappuccino” while Lea Sprunger chose the Speedmaster 38 mm in steel with opaline silvery dial. Golfer Danielle Kang wore OMEGA’s De Ville Trésor in steel with rhodium leather strap.
