OMEGA AWARDS SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL MOONWATCH TO WINNING THREESOME OF THIRD ANNUAL OMEGA GOLF TROPHY SERIES
NEW YORK, NY – May 17, 2019 – OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA Championship, hosted 30 golfers in the OMEGA Golf Trophy finals on Wednesday at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y. and awarded the winning team with an OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch as part of the brand’s overall activation at the 101st PGA Championship, being played this week at Bethpage State Park, Black Course in Farmingdale, N.Y.

The winning threesome, Thomas Best, Justin Coxsey and Andrew Thomson from Los Angeles, was presented with special-edition, engraved OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches, a trophy, autographed drivers and pin flags from OMEGA golf ambassadors, Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio Garcia and Rory McIlroy. The second-place team received a sailing bracelet, a trophy and autographed pin flags while the third-place team took home a trophy and autographed pin flags.
The 30 golfers from across the nation participated in the OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals yesterday as part of their grand prize for winning a local qualifying tournament. The golfers will enjoy various hospitality events throughout the PGA Championship week.
The 2019 PGA Championship, marks the 101st edition of one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar. The greatest golfers in the world will all compete for the Wanamaker Trophy this week just outside of New York City.
