GIR Episode 10 – Preview of the course redesign and new island green at Marriott World Center, Orlando, FL.

On this week’s episode of the Golf Industry Roundtable, we interview Chris Jones and Joshua Kelley of Marriott Golf to discuss the project in depth.  We take a deep dive into what necessitated a course redesign, evaluating the agronomy and grasses used throughout the course and construction of the island green.

As a result of the changes to the course, the USGA has rerated the course which now plays as a par 70 at 6,300 yards.
